Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories are of attending the play school and watching her mother perform. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training in Los Angeles in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married in the civil ceremony on took place in December. When she converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production of the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant presence on social media.
